When a drug company first invents prescription drugs (eg. Prozac) that company
is the only one allowed to make that medication for a certain number of
years (approximately 10 years in the US). After this time period,
other companies are allowed to make the same drug. These drugs are
called generics. The original drug (eg. Prozac) is called a brand
name drug. Brand name drugs and their generics are IDENTICAL in
terms of active ingredients. The generic pills may look different
(because they are made by a different company) but inside is exactly
the same active ingredient which works in exactly the same way. The
only difference between brand name drugs and generic drugs is that
generics are always less expensive.
Rx-mex is a licensed Mexican pharmacy which deals with many
varieties of prescription drugs and generic prescription drugs in several categories such as sexual
health for men and women, hair treatment drugs, wellness aids,
weight loss, HIV/AIDS plus allergies and sinus treatments. What
makes Rx-mex unique is that they not only offer many of today's bet
know brand name medications they also offer a generic equivalent to
most every prescription drug they sell. Some other international
pharmacy's do the same but few offer as many options as RxMex and
none can match their prices.
Some U.S. companies will try to scare people with claims that
these drugs sold by international pharmacy's are not safe, but the
U.S. already imports over half its drugs from abroad. So why are
U.S. citizens being forced to buy over priced drugs from the states
when they can get the same drugs from licensed international
companies for a fraction of the price? While due diligence is always
important don't assume that drugs bought from abroad are any less
safe then those buy right here in the U.S.; after all the drugs you
buy here could very well have been manufactured from the very same
factory and imported into this country.
